TengTools South Africa Celebrates an Outstanding Electra Mining Africa 2026
Electra Mining Africa 2026 was an outstanding success for TengTools South Africa, bringing five days of valuable conversations, hands-on product experiences and new connections with professionals from across the continent.
Our first appearance at the event gave visitors the opportunity to explore TengTools professional hand tools, modular storage and industrial tool-control solutions at Stand B41 in Johannesburg.
The response exceeded our expectations and confirmed the growing demand for smarter, more organised ways to equip workshops, maintenance teams and industrial operations.
Five days of conversations and connections
Throughout the event, we met professionals from the mining, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and automotive sectors.
Visitors were able to handle our tools, explore different storage configurations and discuss the practical challenges affecting their teams – from missing tools and inefficient audits to inconsistent workshop setups.
These conversations gave us valuable insight into the requirements of South African businesses and created opportunities to develop solutions around their people, processes and working environments.

Global experience supporting local growth
TengTools South Africa was joined at the show by senior colleagues and specialists from Sweden and the United Kingdom. Their involvement went far beyond making an appearance: they worked alongside the South African team, supported customer conversations and shared international expertise throughout the five-day event.

His support allowed visitors to explore how digital asset registers, electronic audits, calibration management and missing-tool reporting can improve accountability and operational control.
Their presence demonstrated the strength of the international TengTools network and its commitment to supporting TengTools South Africa with expertise, technology and practical solutions suited to the local market.
Strong local support from KAB Machine Services
The TengTools South Africa team was further supported by Francois Beukes, TengTools Sales Representative at KAB Machine Services, an authorised TengTools reseller based in Johannesburg.
Francois brought valuable local product knowledge and customer support to the stand, helping visitors connect the solutions demonstrated at Electra Mining Africa with accessible, ongoing assistance after the show.
This combination of international expertise, national representation and local reseller support enabled visitors to discuss the complete journey – from identifying a tool-control challenge and specifying the right solution to local supply and long-term support.
Innovation recognised at Electra Mining Africa
A major highlight was TengTools KIT® receiving the Innovation & New Product Award at Electra Mining Africa 2026.
KIT® combines organised TengTools storage and custom FOAM solutions with digital tool management. It enables businesses to create asset registers, perform electronic tool audits, report missing or damaged equipment and manage calibration information more effectively.
Receiving this award was an important recognition of our commitment to practical innovation and smarter tool control for demanding industrial environments.
It was also a proud shared achievement for the South African and international teams who introduced the solution to visitors, answered technical questions and demonstrated how it can be applied in real working environments.
